Mild-flavour pork shashlik with apple cider vinegar

Shashlik goes together with every summer barbecue. Here we share one of the pleasant, mild-flavoured pork shashlik recipes made with our own apple cider vinegar.

To prepare the shashlik, you will need:
  • 2 kg of pork
  • 200 ml Wösel Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 75 ml oil
  • 100 ml sparkling water
  • 2 tbsp. honey
  • 4 onions
  • 5 garlic cloves
  • 3 tbsp. sea salt
  • Plenty of freshly ground pepper
Proceed as follows:

Chop the pork and place in a large bowl, add Wösel Apple Cider Vinegar, oil, sparkling water and honey. Massage the pieces of meat in the liquid, add coarsely chopped onion wheels, pressed garlic, salt, and pepper. Transfer the marinade together with the meat to a cool place and let it marinate for a minimum of 4 hours. Place the meat on a skewer and grill over hot coals. Serve with fresh unpeeled boiled potatoes and raw salad.
