Super tasty and full of useful substances ground elder pesto is prepared quickly!
To prepare ground elder pesto, you will need:
- 5 handfuls of young ground elder leaves
- 4 tbsp. cedar pine seeds
- 3–4 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese (another hard cheese is also suitable)
- 3 tbsp. olive oil
- 3 tbsp. Wösel Apple Cider Vinegar (vinegar with honey is also suitable)
- 1 garlic clove
Put the ground elder leaves on a sieve and rinse under running water, squeeze out excess liquid. Transfer all of the components to a shredder and crush the ingredients until a suitable texture is obtained. I placed all of the ingredients together in a shredder, but you can initially crush the ingredients without oil and vinegar, allowing you to make your pesto as liquid as you like. Suitable for dipping, spreading on bread, pasta dishes, etc.
